Our New Addition

No, no babies yet. Instead we got another puppy! A family Jared met was giving away daschunds for free and he knows how much I love them so he brought one home one day! We had been talking about getting Bernsie a friend but weren't sure when we would get another dog. This seemed like a good opportunity, so now we have Bernsie and Lady Belle. Belle looks like a cow so that's how we came up with her name. We weren't really sure if she was a pure pred or not because of her color, but I investigated it a little and she is just a rare color of daschund. Why these people were giving her away I have no idea, they could have sold her for lots of money! We love her and she fits well into our new little family. My dogs are like my kids since we don't have any yet. So while others are talking about their kids, we talk about our dogs. They truly are amazing creations and we love having them around :) I have to upload pictures from my phone to show you guys pictures and it's taking forever. I will post those as soon as they come through.

We're Still Alive!

Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted something on here. I don't really have a camera right now (the one I have has been having problems with the SD card and the battery dies so fast) so I haven't been taking as many pictures. These pictures are from my phone so they aren't going to be the greatest quality. We haven't been doing much, mostly working, but we have taken a couple of trips over the past few months. In July we went and visited my Grandma in Kanab and saw the broadway musical Tarzan in St. George. We were both impressed and love going to see plays at that theater I always forget how to spell - Tuacahn. Luckily it is in the picture above so I rememered now :) It was nice to see family as well. We took a weekend break in August and went to LA to see a WWE Wrestling Event and had a blast! We went surfing and stayed with some friends from my mission. We were treated like royalty and it was hard to leave!

Loving it!

We moved into our new place last weekend and Jared is now down here(for good!) and life is going great :) I didn't realize how much not being with him affected me because I am loving every minute that I'm with him and loving him more and more every day. His mom drove down with him and spent a few days with us helping us get some stuff that we needed for the condo which was really nice. Bernsie has also seemed to miss Jared because we fight over who gets to sit closer to him. He ultimately wins because he is a small weenie dog and practically sits on his head...lol. We have fun chasing bernsie around the condo and taking him on walks. He doesn't normally like walks but he is starting to like them now since he gets to chase the ducks and geese that hang around the lake that's just outside our place. It's fun to be where we're at and we hope our friends and family will come visit us now that we have a place!

Moving Anyone?

So life has been a little crazy lately. So I moved into our new place only to move out of it 2 days later because the previous tenants had cats. I am VERY allergic to cats and I noticed the place smelled a little funny when I got there but wasn't sure if it was coming from outside since all of the windows were open and the fans were going. I asked if the last tenant had cats and they said no (big lie). Later when my friends came to help they commented on it and said I shouldn't even move my stuff in, but being hopeful that it would go away I still did and then by 12 the next day I had to leave because I couldn't see out of one eye and the other one was starting to act up and I could hardly breathe. So I moved out and actually found a better place that's bigger and better for about the same price! So things happen for a reason and I'm hoping Jared will actually be down here next week when we get to move in :) Needless to say it's been a little crazy and already this year I've had to move my stuff 3 times. Luckily I haven't unpacked yet so it's been a little easier. I am ready to be able to settle down in a place and not move for a long time! I'm very lucky to have friends who help me out and don't bail on me when problems come up. :)

Sad Cloud Over Phoenix Today

Ok Ok...so it's actually really really sunny and warm...but this morning I had to take Jared to the airport so he could go back to Canada to work again. Not fun! He was here for a week with his cousin, Rhett, and Rhett's gf Mandy for the most anticipated Wrestlemania! We all had a great time and are also sad that it's over. I'm not sure when Jared will be able to come back again, but we are hoping soon, and for good! I don't have any pictures for the moment since my computer has been broken and I'm at work so I can't put any pictures up. But I will do that soon since my computer is now working!

The Search is Over!

Yay! We were approved to the place that we wanted to live, an apartment complex with in walking distance of my work with a garage :) We move in April 10th and I'm really excited! I'll get to sleep in a little later and won't have to leave so early to get to work on time. No more traffic! Thank you for all your prayers!

New Apartment Search!

So life is a little simple right now since Jared is still in Canada working. Work, eat, take care of Bernsie, and sleep. That pattern doesn't get disrupted too much. About once a week I spend some time with my good friends Travis and Tara. Other than that, until I start my online classes from BYU I try to keep myself entertained by finding shows on TV to watch. We are in the process of finally getting our own apartment so when Jared comes down we have a place to be :) Please keep us in your prayers that we will get approved to a nice place (one that isn't so scary)!
